Create a sub-account

grant access to the cleaning company, provide access, open remotely

You can create sub-accounts directly from your dashboard to provide personalised access to your colleagues.

Below are the steps to follow:

  1. Select Administration from the left-hand menu of the dashboard.

  2. Select Sub-accounts.

  3. Click on the New Sub-account button at the top right.

4. Fill in the required fields, such as:

Full name

Email address

Password (you need to create one for them)

5. Once created, decide what permissions to give your collaborator.

Select Manage permissions:

You can give access to one apartment, only some or all of them.

The permissions to be provided may relate to:

  • Opening access: opening the facility's doors;

  • Reservation access, in both read and write mode (you can also make changes)

  • Payment access (to allow employees to manage Vikey monthly fee payments)

  • Billing access (to allow employees to manage invoicing data relating to the Vikey fee)

  • Apartment details, in both read and write mode (they can also make changes)

If you grant them this permission, the employee will be able to edit the information relating to the apartment in the “content” section, uploading new photos and adding details

  • Account customisation, in both read and write mode (they will also be able to make changes)

If you grant this permission, the collaborator will be able to access and edit the ‘integrations’ section, create and/or edit ‘customised check-in’ and ‘customised email’ templates.

Once the procedure is complete, the employee can download the Vikey Host app, log in with the credentials you provided (username and password) and perform all the operations for which you have granted them access.

Please note! If the employee already has their own Vikey account, they will not be able to create a sub-account, but you will have to share your account permissions with them.
