Having trouble viewing the message on booking.com or Airbnb?

What about the formatting in messages from Booking.com and Airbnb?

Following recent changes made by Booking.com and Airbnb to their messaging APIs, we recommend following these instructions:

For all bookings made via Booking.com and Airbnb (whether they are entered directly into Vikey or first go through your own management system), we recommend that you do not format the emails. HTML code is removed or not accepted by Airbnb and Booking.com (not by Vikey), and images are sent as links. In particular, for these platforms, we recommend adopting a ‘mobile-first’ approach (optimised for viewing on mobile devices). Airbnb and Booking.com are currently the only OTAs to offer this technical option.

Please note that if you have chosen to be copied in on messages (your guest receives the message in chat whilst you receive a copy of the email), the email you receive will not be formatted in the same way as the message sent via the OTA’s chat.
